Shop Modest Wedding Gowns

modest bridal wedding dressEach bride-to-be has a different feeling about her wedding dress, maybe you are the one who are fond of a modest look on your big day, here’s some advice for you.
Generally, there are five basic cuts available in the modest wedding dress style, namely, A-line, ball gown, empire waist, mermaid shape and sheath or column. Select the one which suits your body type the best. Jackets and skirts used for modest wedding gowns were designed elegantly to match the event. Some of them were also made from the same fabric used for conventional wedding gowns to make them look like actual wedding dresses suitable for women with this preference. They may also be lined with lace and other fabrics that complete their overall look for every wedding motif.
If you are a bride going for simple yet elegant, modest wedding dress is one for all.

Wedding Dress Trends In 2013

To help you choose perfect wedding dress, we’re always telling you about new trends and styles. One of the trends for Spring 2013 is the peplum.
A peplum is a small overskirt traditionally attached to a jacket or bodice, reminiscent of both the 1940s and the 1980s. Borrowing a popular silhouette from the couture runways at NYC Bridal Fashion Week, waist-defining peplums injected wedding gowns with a dose of haute style using both structured and softly draped shapes. “Peplums were huge,” Leonard says. “It’s fascinating how that really picked up this season. It’s a high-fashion look that’s sexy and graphic.”
Peplum is “in” for Spring 2013 Bridal Gowns, which totally gives brides a distinct vintage feel and very ‘Hollywood Glamour’. Welcome back peplum!

OSCAR BRIDAL FASHION INSPIRATION

Did you see the show? I noticed lots of  bridal white, and I couldn’t help but take some wedding inspired notes as I watched the stars walk the red carpet. Here are my favorite white dress trends from the night:
1. Fringe
Cameron Diaz wore an off-white Gucci Premiere gown, and I thought her sparkly silver fringe train was the best part — it made the whole look for me.

2. One-Shoulder
Side-swept hair and one-shoulder gowns were big last night. Milla Jovovich was a knockout in her white beaded dress by Elie Saab Couture.

3. Gwyneth’s Cape
I know folks might not agree, but I thought Gwyneth Paltrow’s white Tom Ford ensemble was stunning, and I LOVED her big bracelet and matching ring. My only beef? Her awful ponytail! She was at the Oscars not the gym!

4. Short Sleeves
As far as I’m concerned, Octavia Spencer was an Oscar winner AND a fashion winner last night. She looked incredible in her off-white jeweled Tadashi Shoji gown that gathered at the waist.

5. Mermaid Train
Say what you will about Rooney Mara’s look, but I like that she’s not afraid to take fashion risks. The bodice of her delicate white Givenchy Couture gown wasn’t my favorite, but I did like that it was a bold, dramatic choice. And I always love a beautiful train.

6. Long Sleeves
I thought Shailene Woodley’s long-sleeve white Valentino Couture gown was a little mature for her, but she looked like no one else on the red carpet. Long-sleeves are huge in bridal right now, too, and I thought the details and cut-out design were fun and unique.

Unique Wedding Dress Trends

Whether you love or hate these 2012 trends, they are sure to make an impression!
Anne Fulenwider, editor-in-chief of Brides magazine shared her bridal expertise with "Good Morning America”. She’s spilling the most interesting bridal trends she is seeing this wedding season. It seems like designers are trying to set the trends, but will you buy?
Here are three bridal gown trends to love or loathe this year. Photos are all found on Pinterest. Have a moment? Follow WeddingMoons on Pinterest!
Sleeves
A throwback to vintage dresses – sleeves are making a comeback!

Our opinion: while sleeves can look gorgeous, think cap-sleeve. Be careful not to date yourself, a log-sleeved lace choice can be a nasty beast with a dainty façade.

The Slit
This trend is for the bolder bride who wants to make a memorable entrance. The picture below is a slit with functionality! It’s actually a hidden zipper! If you want to be a bit more modest for the ceremony or if you’d like to break it down during the reception- the control is in your hands.

Our opinion: A tasteful slit can be dramatic and fashionable. If you go for the slit, make sure you steer clear of something that may reveal or *gasp* rip mid-reception. How to avoid an embarrassing wedding wardrobe malfunction: When you try on your dress, have bridesmaids or bridal consultants make a circle around you, do a little dancing (maybe some champagne first?) and see if your slit is revealing or just right.

Pants
We aren’t talking about a tailored pants suit – this is the jumper of wedding dresses. This statement piece could actually work for a fashion-forward bride, but chances are without the confidence to pull off such a bold piece: this may fall into the regret column.

Our opinion: If you want to rock bridal pants – do it with confidence! Pair it with a fitted top and a gorgeous statement necklace for balance.
